We recently completed the refurbishment of a grade II listed property in central Oxford. Our client required their existing chemistry lab spaces and surrounding areas to be converted into new office and meeting room spaces.

TMD acted as a single point of contact providing a multi-disciplinary service, including project management, architecture, MEP, Structural and principal designer services. This included the preparation and management of listed building consents and discharging of multiple conditions.

The works consisted of creating additional floor space by introducing a new mezzanine level, and refurbishment of the surrounding communal and conference spaces. This project included glazed brick cleaning and improving the thermal efficiency of the building fabric including the windows and roof, whilst working in accordance with the constraints of such a building.
