David Copsey, Managing Director at TMD celebrates 28 years at TMD

“28 years ago today, I arrived at TMD as a graduate building surveyor with a brand new briefcase (with nothing in) and the excitement of the train journey to work (that excitement soon wore off).

The business was only 3 years old at that time and only 7 of us so no hiding place. I feel extremely fortunate to have joined a great firm and even more so to have been made a director 2 years after joining and now the MD.

The company ethos has not changed since the early days, nor has the commitment to provide the best service to our clients and it is a testimony to TMD that half of the directors started as graduates within the company, and we have a number of other staff who have also been part of that long journey.

I am looking forward to the next 28 years.”
