TMD was appointed as joint project manager and contract administrator for the complete reconfiguration and refitting of the Grade II Listed Old Indian Institute building for the Oxford Martin School, in the heart of Oxford.

The project included the provision of office, lecture and seminar facilities, break out areas and improvements to accessibility into and around the building.

The key challenges of the project related to undertaking a comprehensive refurbishment, particularly to the MEP installations, with an existing and architecturally important building.

The project was tendered under a two stage procurement route and a JCT D&B contract.
